whats the last movie you watched

Saw Oz the Great and Wonderful, um, last night - which for me is still 'today' since I haven't slept yet.

I was expecting a bit of 'fluff' that revolved solely on CGI thus a bit of what I call CGI porn.

However it had a really good story, and one that meshes very well into the universe that Frank Baum created for the OZ series. I think it ties up loose ends about the Witches and the Wizard which Mr. Baum never addressed, but the story works real well with the OZ universe.

And the CGI was good, better since was set in a real solid and decent story with good acting.

I give the movie two thumbs up and a bit of elf leaf for good measure.

I may actually turn around and buy this particular movie to watch it again and again - something I don't do with many movies.

I liked it. It actually gave a background to the characters, which was nice.

I dont like Mila Kunis and was sad that she ended up being my honey, sweety, Wicked Witch of the West. Although she did a decent job. The makeup was a bit OVER done though.

I loved the China Village with the China people. That was awesome.

I did like it enough though, that I hope they continue the series with the next 4 stories.
It would be nice to have a complete series of movies on this, by the same director with the same look and feel and characters.

Ive been hoping they would do the movie "Wicked", as that book was SO FREEKING FANTASTICALLY TOO AWESOME FOR WORDS!!!! Not the musical mind you, but from the book. And all the other books he wrote dealing with the lives of story characters. I love those.

Pretty good, a little overdramatic but still entertaining.

I rewatched the nightmare before christmas with a female friend while singing all the songs outloud and listening to covers of the songs. It's my favourite film. I love how it can be dark and sinister while being sweet and innocent hehe
