Just watched "Blue is the Warmest Color" (La Vie d'Adèle), being a big winner in Cannes it made me curious...

It is a coming of age film about lesbian romance...it's very provocative and liberating to watch but the simplicity yet thoroughness of the film made me like it a lot Smile

Just saw American Beauty.
Excellent, I really enjoyed it.

And Kevin Stacey was so sexy in this movie. Big Grin
But there are 3 things I disliked :
-He was much sexier in 1999 than now and at that time I was too young to have sex
-He was in America but at that time and I was in Europe
-He's straight

I feel like I missed my life.

^i like it as well... I remember Mena Suvari flirting with Kevin Spacey, full of sexual tensions...

I just watched (actually yesterday night in the cinema) The wolf of Wall street... It was just so long since it's director's cut. Leo was so good! I hope to see his name in the Oscar nominees for Best actor

I'm about to watch Ratatouille here at home..but American Idol popped on tv

I love the complexity of the characters in American Beauty.

A bit disappointed by the end of the Wolf of Wall Street.
But it's very good on visual aspects and di Caprio was brilliant as well. But yeah, too long, and no real messages...just a real description, show off, money, sex and no clear position of the director on this.

Ratatouille is excellent!

^ i agree, they were all so good... Thora, Annette, kevin, mena, etc...

What i dont like in The Wolf of wallstreet are the scenes which are not needed at all that accumulated most of its running time....and yes, no real message and too vulgar for my taste...but good overall

Hugh Jackman, yes. But the movie was disappointing.

Your first mistake was expecting the movie to have any redeeming qualities beyond Huge Axeman.

Your second mistake was not watching it cuddled up to me Wink
