ahh, yeah saw that awhile, I didn't read the reviews on it beforehand
so towards the middle end of the movie I kept telling myself, "Wait, thats
kind of odd and familiar.. Where's Ripley..?" haha

Then the ending came on and it clicked ;D

It didnt all click for me until after it finished and i thought "oh say thats the spaceship from Aliens" lol! Another sequel would be good, show you how the girl from Aliens gets there.

It clicked for me at the part where she got inside the 'do-it-your-own-surgery'
machine thing to get the the thing inside her. Specially when the machine
scanned her and showed the shape of it through the scanner, lol that where
I got my, "Aha!" moment

Well finally got butterfly effect watched today was an amazing film!!! Also watched scary movie 5 which was allright but I guess I don't get huge kicks from slapstick comedy

Magic Mike... found it kind of over-rated.

Yeah true... 80% in rotten tomatoes. Seems like a life story of Channing Tatum, hehe

Saw 12 Years a Slave tod... well, yesterday now, technically. haha I didn't like it. Another film designed to illicit white guilt over oppression that officially ended 160 years ago. As a mixed race individual, I've been told I should feel more strongly about films like these, but they always come off so manipulative, trite, and contrived.

Oh really.... I'm actually curious about it because of it's accolades in different award giving bodies.

The Love of Siam
A very cute Thai gay themed movie.
In general I don't love romantic films, but even if the plot is not something unusual or complicated, also is not boring and very sweet.
And is about true life, difficulties of true life, of being an LGBT person, but also facing other things like moving from the house, loosing relates, discovering that you cannot have the one you love, etc.
And the various character are lovely, with them human limits.
