Was ok, but original was better in so many ways.

I agree. I just saw it on Friday. It was definitely entertaining, and I did enjoy it. The original told the story much better though, since this one just paced it way too quickly.

WTF… Its a film? Read it and the second book "brother odd" which was nowhere near as good, i wonder if they making whole series of movies for the books.

Who stars?

I don't know who the guy is but they have it on Amazon right now and it is being shown before they show it at theatres...it is 9.99 to rent it for 48 hours. I was captivated the entire movie.

I haven't read the books yet but I have them in front of me at the moment. I have a few friends who have been insisting I read them because they say he reminds them of me and since more than one person said it I had to watch the movie when I was it...and now I know that they were talking about Smile

OK...looked at my TV Screen as it is still on save....the guy who stars is Anton Yelchin and Willem Dafoe

I cant wait, honestly though "brother odd" was a real let down… for me anyway. Going off to google about this now.

Yeah, it wasn't very good. The first book was frikkin awesome though.

By the way, Brother Odd was actually the third book. There was also Forever Odd, which was at least better than Brother Odd. The rest of the series is alright, but the first Odd Thomas book is really the only one really worth its own weight.

Really im sure brother odd is the second book… are you sure?

Yes i loved the first one though was quite few years ago i read it, after the second one i gave up, i tried to forget about it so i just see odd thomas as a stand-alone novel, it ends there for me.

I just saw there is a tv mini series of my favourite dean koontz book "Intensity" !!! Need to get this more.
