The ultimate Easter movie: Nicholas Ray's King of Kings (1961).
I loved it. I loved how the movie focused more on Jesus' doctrine and less on the 'supernatural' aspects of His life. There are no spectacular miracles, no special effects (which would probably end up looking silly or dated today), no visual tricks, this really is a timeless work.

Divergent.
It seems the movie was poorly received by audiences and critics, I wonder why.
I enjoyed it, it was fun and the dream sequences were brilliant.

I started to read the book but got bored because of the similarities to the hunger games so it felt a tad.. stolen? Is it worth giving another chance?

Xmen and X2 marathon last night. Watched them with my BF and his mother. Testing the new surround sound. Last in the theater was the new Captain America. Excellent!
