Watched a couple of movies yesterday.

IMDB plot summary:

Love, loss and hope are tumultuously explored amidst a tranquil backdrop and asks us all the question: What is your dream?

I liked it. A gentle drama, well acted, good production value. The gay element isn't the central issue, which is refreshing. About a family dealing with issues buried in the past and unearthed in inevitable circumstance.

Another complex family drama that kept my attention. More about how family members see themselves, how they've changed over time, and how a mother reacts to the passage of time and long held traditions. Good performances, good production value, beautiful location, and the writing/character development is fully realized. A good watch.

Watching movies takes me out of my head (if it's a good movie), so that's part of why I'm back today.
