進撃の巨人 P1
(Attack On Titans[lit. Advancing Titan])

Omggggg such a fabulous movie. I mean... The crazy visuals and sounds and emotional roller coasters and passionate acting and the dialog and the story and the EVERYTHING Pengy

I couldn't pick an emotion to stick with, I was flailing all over my bed and it doesn't help that I'm already Dramatic.

And the fact that when the 隊長(Captain), appeared with his sultry voice and accent, I coulda dead :|

I gonna binge watch the 2nd Movie, so damn hard Sheep

It's been a long time since I got this excited from a movie, since Harry Potter >:3

Batman vs Superman, I didn't think it would be that good but I thought they did an excellent job. A lot if critics gave it bad reviews but I think they keep comparing action movies to Oscar winning dramas. I still don't like Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luther, he made him seem more like the Joker. But overall great movie with a big surprise at the end for fans of the superman univers.

^ I don't know; kinda tired of comic book fare. 'Man of Steel' was kind of awful...

犹太女孩在上海
A Jewish Girl in Shanghai

It was such a beautiful movie. My family came from Jewish refugees who lived in Shanghai during WWII. I never would have guessed I'd see a work of art based on my ancestors plight. I was just searching for Chinese movies to watch to help me with my Mandarin (which I'm sure I'll reach fluency in about ... 80 years?), and I saw "Jewish" and "Shanghai" together and I couldn't believe it.
I haven't seen such a good animation in a long time. But the story was heart-warming.

It was an interesting watch. I'd recommend it for people interested in masculinity and sociology. And its on Netflix.

SInce nobody mentioned it, I watched this movie like few weeks ago, but very worthy of mentioning it here: ZOOTOPIA! For animal lovers out there, this movie is cutesy as hell! Not to mention it's hilarious~! And there's some real life message too in it. I don't usually watch animation movie in cinema, but this one was totally worth it! Check it out~

バケモノの子
「If literally Translated: "The Beast's Child/Boy", which could make sense as the child is raised by the Bear in a sense; the more accurate title is: "The Beast and the Boy"」

As you can tell either by reading or me telling you, the Story is basically revolving around a lil Kid, who "fell" from his world, into the care of a "Bear man" from an 'adjacent' world.

And they are attempting to save the child from himself in a sense, as he develops a "space within", that is eventually restored by the Bear man:

So in a super super brief summary:

A Japanese iteration of "The Jungle Book", focussing more on Balance than Humanity.

I liked it tho and would recommend it for a lil light hearted entertainment Cat3

lol I came here to post that I saw "man of steel" and this is the first thing I read on opening this thread

I thought it was really good, the costumes, the action, Henry Caville was easy on the eye, I really want to see batfleck vs superman now.. despite everything I have read
