My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 (I didn't pay for it, so don't judge.)
It did have quite a few laugh-out-loud moments, but the story continually goes off in too many different directions without any real payoff. Had it been a little more focused, I'd actually recommend it.

Hateful Eight
Enjoyable. Makes sense it follows Django. No mistaking it's a Tarantino film. That's about it. Recommend if you have the time.

Quirky, small budget, sweet. I can picture Sally Field receiving an Oscar nomination (but not winning). Left me wanting more--that's a good thing. Recommend.

Captain America: Civil War
Comes off as an Avenger's film starring Robert Downey, but who's splitting hairs? Solid, engaging story. Ant-man's role (small as it is) was surprisingly fresh and exciting--made the film for me. If I have a complaint, it's too loong. Recommend.

Gonna go watch Ant-Man now.

Weirdly, it was Marjane Satrapi's The Voices. I can't say I 'liked' it, but as I thought about it, it grew on me. It's a bleak story told in a sunshiny way, which was different. Ryan Reynolds does a super job.

Just finished watching The Five, superbly bleak and slick, but also melancholy British series about loss and yearning... told by wonderful actors. (Tom Cullen, from Weekend, namely).

I thoroughly recommend it. Very well written script.
