You're hyped for Andromeda? I was too, but I lost all the hype once I heard it will be a standalone story and not part of a trilogy the gameplay and characters don't look that interesting either, but I hope I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I've known that it won't be part of the Shepard story since I finished ME3
Most fans actually wanted something away from the original story now.
BUT Andromeda takes place between ME2 and 3, so we might get to hear something about the events in 3 before leaving Earth.

The fact it won't be part of Shepard trilogy is ancient news...I meant the fact Andromeda won't start a new trilogy, but rather be a standalone game. Imho what made ME wonderful, among other things, was the long lasting relationship with the crew, seeing them grow as the years went by...this time, the story will reach its conclusion at the end of one single game: that might take a lot of the magic away, and the plot will probably feel a lot less epic.

I'm not too fond of the direction Guillermo del Toro has taken in recent years, so I'd like to take it back few.

Hellboy (2004)

Falls in that special category of film suitable for repeat viewing. It's delightful. Every time I see it, I appreciate it that much more.

I wouldn't doubt if new editions of all of the above are in the works. The difference is that RP wears very heavy makeup as 'Hellboy' (and with the exception of a couple of 'Terminators,' those examples are pretty shitty) so it really wouldn't matter. But del Toro has recently closed the book on all speculation.

I think it's more about a lack of financial support than any unwillingness on del Toro's part. It's actually surprising there was even a sequel considering the lackluster box office performance of the original.
