For a more immature take on it...
I heard a theory not long ago, that earlier in our evolution, when we walked on all fours that is, the buttocks were the primary sexual attraction - mainly because they were in the natural line of sight.
It is said that as we evolved to stand on two legs, the breasts developed to "mimic" the buttocks, and so remain in our natural line of sight, and remain the primary sexual attraction.
To my mind then, or a gutteral, idealistic part of it at least, we ALL began gay.
Sadly, the opposite side of this coin says that, using that theory, the gay race have not evolved as well as the straight one. And I would definitely take issue with that.
So no, I'm not actually a great fan of that one :frown:

I quoted a letter to some radio personality about Leviticus (old testament) and homosexuality on my podcast the other week. This whole "is wrong because" routine really amuses me.
Did you know in earlier times and even today some cultures see homosexuality as being divine? Some cultures believe a homosexual person in closer to the divine because they have equal balance of male/female, yin/yang or however you'd refer to it.
In the time if the witches (not the Hollywood type) the most influential were often homo or bi for the same reason. Medicine men or women in some tribes were often gay.
In cultures today who quote various religious reasons why being gay is wrong and what the penalties should be should also recall these books were written by men who used religion for political influence over their subjects not because they wanted to "share the word of God".

People often forget the obvious as well.
They go on about heterosexuality... and children. THIS is not quite correct. Hetero and homo describe our choices of partners....not ABILITY. Each of us here is biologicaly capable of making a child, and gays have done so throughout history. Being straight just means you enjoy the making more, not that you are more capable.
I'd set my little guys against any hetero's! I'm waiting for someone to "prove" to me heterosexuality exists.
The whole question is always just so dumb. Hundreds of millions of us. Do they really think that in some dark part of some remote jungle somewhere some mother has managed the exact same formula for raising just one of her 10 children to be gay as some woman in West Virginia, London, Prague, Tibet and Katmandoo?

Homosexuality has been very alive throughout history and is still around today and will still be here tomorrow. some people just don't get that. Did you know that the spartans were mostly if not all bisexual. And many kings in egypt were gay and only chose a queen whom they thought would be the right woman to bear the child, and these woman sought this as a great honor. Even in the dark ages homosexuality existed. Religion and modern day society has changed everyones views of homosexuality and it's no longer free way of life but it still largely exist and that can't change just because people choose to.
