Hmm. You are moving to Toronto eh? Most of Toronto's gay scene happens around the Church Street in downtown. One thing I find it helpful is talking to strangers. Well, strangers as in random people while you are crossing a traffic light or someone who's sitting on a same chair. It takes a lot of courage to talk to people like that, but once you get it down well, you can talk to people much better.
