When did you realise you were attracted to guys ?

I was 12, was watching a movie named "bachelor party" with Tom Hanks when one of Tom´s friends on the movie shows shirtless and with a tie dancing and sweating...I re-winded the 10 seconds so many times that I understood what was going on my mind!

I was a teenager and experimented with a friend. I liked it and grew into my busexual skin slowly. Still kinda scared but getting better

Forgive me if I'm out of term or topic here, but I'm writing a screenplay, and I once had a (at the time) openly fem gay house mate, and they used a term to describe people like me, at the time, and it had something to do with how openly gay men perceive or what they, at the time, labeled hesitantly gay men. Or men who were, at the time, fine with being gay, as long as inside a home...or to themselves.
And I don't mean 'closet gay', that's not the term I'm seeking...but then again maybe what they used was slang, and specific from Wisconsin...slang can be reginal.
Anyways, if anyone knows what term I'm thinking of, please do suggest.

Maybe I'd say they are "discreet"?
