Man Slow Cooks Wife for Four Days
[/SIZE]
The Associated Press
Wednesday, September 19, 2012

Los Angeles (AP)- A chef on trial Tuesday for his wife's murder told sheriff's investigators that they couldn't find his wife's body because he had cooked it for four days in boiling water until little was left but her skull.

Los Angeles Superior Court jurors heard David Viens make the statements in a recorded interview with sheriff's investigators that was played in court during his murder trial.

"I just slowly cooked it and I ended up cooking her for four days," Viens could be heard saying on the recording, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Viens gave detectives the interview as he lay in a hospital bed in March 2011, after leaping off an 80-foot cliff in Rancho Palos Verdes when he learned he was a suspect in the late 2009 disappearance of his wife, Dawn Viens, 39, whose body was never found.

Viens, whose injuries from the leap have him attending his trial in a wheelchair, said in the interview that he stuffed his wife's body in a 55-gallon drum of boiling water and kept it submerged with weights.

He said he mixed what remained after four days with other waste, dumping some of it in a grease pit at his restaurant in Lomita, and putting the rest in the trash.

He said the only significant thing left was his wife's skull, which he stashed in his mother's attic at her home in Torrance. But a search of the house turned up nothing, nor did an excavation of the restaurant.

On the recording played in court, sheriff's Sgt. Richard Garcia asked Viens what happened on Oct. 18, 2009, the night his wife disappeared.

"For some reason I just got violent," he said.

This has been all over the news today and its chaos and stupidity all around. for those that don't know some ignorant film maker made some low budget online movie mocking the Prophet Mohammad causing riots in Egypt and Libya. in Libya rioters stormed the U.S. consulate in Benghazi killing Ambassador Christopher Stevens.

I'm actually surprised that the rest of the world hasn't learned by now that we can't control the idiots that live in this country and a movie some douche bag made who wasn't even known until after the movie released is no reason to go and take someones life.

  Support Gayspeak
Posted by: dfiant - 08-27-2012, 10:20 AM - Forum: Everyday-Stories - Replies (13)

Hey guys,

I know Andy is too proud to ask for help, but I love Gayspeak and in the year and half I have been here I have done my share of helping Andy out with cash donations.

Some of you may have noticed that Gayspeak was offline for a while today. Andy needs a faster and better server with more memory for caching all of our contributions to Gayspeak.

It is coming into September and we have collectively donated $110 of the goal of $500...22% of the target has been reached and we are almost 75% of the way through the year.

Downtime on any website is a critical matter, but I consider Gayspeak to be a critical site. Think about it, if some kids is desperate for help and comes across a website that has crashed, are they going to wait a couple of hours for the site to come back up?

We all need to not only help Andy out, but help ourselves out by building a better server for our website so we can be there 24/7 for those that need us.

PLEASE click that 'DONATE' button, upto and beyond the goal of $500...every little dollar will be a huge step towards each of our goals.
