  Sir Patrick Moore. R.I.P
Posted by: Guest - 12-09-2012, 06:00 PM - Forum: Everyday-Stories - Replies (6)

Sir Patrick passed at lunch time today, in his home aged 89.

A true legend, and gentleman, who will be missed, and can never be replaced.

55 years presenting The Sky At Night on the BBC, is a feat unmatched any where on the planet.

May God rest his soul.

  Remember Valerie.
Posted by: Guest - 12-09-2012, 12:29 PM - Forum: Movies - No Replies

I guess many of you watched the movie called ''V for vandetta''. The movie was amazing because i find many things in it. And one scene in it.. its the best one i have ever seen. I feel so close to Valerie, i always feel sad when i see her in the movie and i always cry when this part comes up

Maybe she's real, maybe not but every body in here has a part that belongs to Valerie, every one of you feels the way she felt. As a way of showing respect and my love to her.. i impute this thread to her. The one who is my symbol, the one who shows the world how mean they are, the one i feel like she's me.. i love you the way you are.

There will be a Partial/full solar eclipse in Oceania on wednesday!

Everybody in Aussie and New Zealand go get your solar observing glasses! I've got mine from the observatory.

This will be the best eclipse for new zealand until 2035. I alread missed the transit of Venus earlier this year and I lost faith in life o.o Hope for pleasant weather!
