I think there is a world of difference between your "dream man" and your "ideal man".

For me, my dream man was always well over 6 ft, a blond Fennoscandian or dark haired Puerto Rican, chiselled body, etc etc. Or Neil Tennant.

My ideal man turned out to be about 5'7", from the UK, brown hair, and neither of us has a chiselled body. But he's perfect for me. We just mesh perfectly. Mentally and intellectually we go well together and have enough in common to share things, and enough different to each other to make it interesting. Did I honestly think he was "the one" when we met 9 years ago? No. But it very quickly became apparent he was, and 9 years on I still look forward to getting home and spending time with him.

Edit: On a moment's reflection, I probably actually got closest to finding my "Neil".

That is precisely the sort of partner that I would wish for you, Joseph... Someone who loves you no matter what. Confusedmile: Good luck...

So is either one of you at all Swedish??? OR are you just the quaint gay Brits who settled in Sweden to raise chickens and goats?
