I can actually relate to that as I have to watch over my big brother. He's the type who doesn't care anything (Sort of). At least when he's at home. Imagine if he dropped his contact lens or tooth brush in the bathroom today. Expect it to be in the bathroom's floor on the same spot on years to come.

As much as I am irritated by his attitude, I'm not going to elaborate any further. But you get the idea.

I was frustrated by his attitude. But staying frustrated will not solve the problem. The bathroom will remain dirty etc. He simply doesn't care. So to keep me sane, I just have to be the big man and the actual big brother in the house. Love it or hate it, patience is truly needed. Or you will get drifted by frustration.

He's looking for his own house now. All I can say, phew. Good luck to his future wife. Good things do come, Ceez. Better late than never.

ceez Wrote:quick question for anyone who reads this, who is your top priority?

It depends on the situation, ceez. In my life, I am number one follows by my parents.

You should be your top priority too. It's your life that you are living in and it is your future that you are building. Not anyone else.

thanks Jay, I asked the question because my aunt told me that my grandmother should be my top priority:confused: but I always thought you put yourself first. actually most of the older people in my family thought I was going to live here forever to take care of my grandmother but she's not my responsibility, she can still take care of herself and its screwed up to just throw her on me. its their own freakin mother.

I understand elders are important and should be respected in our lives. Particularly our parents. But we need to know how to divide and balance our priorities. Don't neglect our lives for them. But don't neglect them either.

I assume your aunt is your grandmother's daughter? If she is, shouldn't (most) of the responsibility to take care of your grandmother goes to her instead of you? You are his grandson. She's her daughter.

Sometimes you need a bit of chaos in your life to be able to shrug off pitiful disdain about something meaningless.

I am actually feeling relatively good considering I felt...welll...I'm not sure there's a word that can describe the crappiness.

I'm getting over a cold so that's annoying but since I'm sitting around doing nothing it's given me some time to work on school stuff.

I also am meeting with a school counselor tomorrow as my uncle recommended him for helping mapping out the rest of my college life and getting free money. I also figured I can ask about tips and resources for handling my anxiety. The counselor is also kinda hot so that's exciting. xD

I also took my mom's new dog for a walk and she's been a little more welcoming of my attention so that's good. Though she did poop at the park and I forgot to take a bag so I just left it and my conscoius was beating me up for a while but I felt too sick to really care for long. I'll just remember next time~

Now I'm off to do some homework and hopefully at some point I'll feel well enough to take a sledgehammer to some walnuts!

Feeling much better, though still somewhat tired.

My younger brother is playing an online game called Everquest and wanted me to play with him. Spent about 5 hours on the damn thing last night trying to figure out what the hell I'm doing. *sigh* video games were never really my forte.

Other than that, yeah....so far its shaping up to be a wonderful day Confusedmile:

Upset...my very first story for the school year gets cut, cause the editor thinks it too opinion based and the funny thing is we have an opinion section. My friend has to be confined to the hospital...I really hope she's fine.

here's my article:
