Whoa, I'm totally impressed and surprised by the sudden website design change.

I just dropped of my brother and his wife at the airport, they're leaving for a whole 6 months. My parents are in Port Elizabeth and my boyfriend is too far...so I'm feeling a bit lonely.I'm the only family member left in Cape Town, scary thought. We spent the day at my parents' house (as pe my Ma's instructions) and had to make sure that the helper was taking good care of the house.I've also been tasked with the task of watering sister-in-law's mini-Amazon.Yay.

Have you checked out that little box in the bottom left.. 3 styles to choose from... old style, new style, and work friendly style (ie, new style and no GS banner at the top)

Well, isn't that neat. Someone needs to warn me when these things are implemented

You certainly do have a busy day planned, or, with the time difference, you have already had a busy day.

I am exhausted just hearing about it.

Where is everyone going? All of those you took to the airport, where are they off to?

Hey guys, I'm feeling a bit bored and worried at the moment.

Been at work today on a management shift and it was dead as. Ian's in Harrow visiting his uncle as his family are all discussing Australia. Making me feel a bit... nervous that loads of his family are going... they don't know he's gay or that we're together... and I'm split in two coz part of me is feeling a bit annoyed that they're all planning our holiday? but the other part is thinking im intruding on THEIR holiday. So I'm all hmmmmm *bites fingernails* and couple that with me missing him loads coz I dunno when he's gonna be back or if I'm gonna get to see him tonight... and he hasn't been overly conversational today... just making me miss him like crazy.

Am also crazy worried about money. I'm coping at the moment, but I keep putting things on my credit card thinkin "ah it's fine ive got 0% interest" but yeah that's not good... I'm really good with my money, I should be able to pay a huge chunk of it off next month as I've saved a bit back... but it's gonna start getting really really tight soon so I'm just a bit hmmmmm!!!

BUT i'm loving the new skin  Cool

I'm starting to feel better now I have a tub of hagen dazs (strawberry cheesecake)

Smurlos, if you don't mind my input on the money front. Try leaving your credit card at home, have a debit card (one that wont let you spend more than what you have in the bank) for necessities and emergencies, and if you spot something you would normally put on the credit card, note where it is and go home and think it through, can I afford it? do I need it? what will it be doing in 6 months time (eg sat in the back of a cupboard or will it be still used?). Then you can assess the purchase and go back if it really is something you can afford/need/will use. Sorry if that sounds patronising and I know its harder than it sounds but just an idea. If its online you spend then put your credit card as far away from the computer as possible and do the same thing. make a rule that you have to consider online purchases at least overnight. If its a limited time offer the likelihood is you'll be able to find it elswhere anyway so dont panic!!!

Mmmmm, Hagen Dazs going down well. Considering a Jack to go with it. mmmmmm sundays......

:O do you like Ben & Jerry's Peace of Cake (Strawberry cheesecake) too???? Oh my god I'd sell my soul for a tub of that stuff (no where does it anymore round here.... WHHHHHHY?)

Oh I don't go on shopping sprees with my credit card, I'm fairly sensible. It's just doing stuff with my guy. Like when I meet him for lunch, we go in Boots and I buy... it's only small debits but they soon mount up. Then petrol goes on the card. But yesterday I bought a couple of tshirts I liked as they were reduced when we were in Portsmouth and I also used the card to pay for us to get to Portsmouth and yeah, I don't often get a weekend day off. So while it's not overly irresponsible spending... it is unnecessary spending nonetheless... but yeah, it's spending that's worth it and mostly non-material...
