Field trips are cancelled due to the snow storm tomorrow... if they cancel after school too then I get a day off. I think I'm more excited by the idea of a snow day than the kids I work with are.

Hi. I'm back after a long absence because I crave safe community. Facebook and Twitter have become too toxic. I have to keep disconnecting myself.
Also I hurt my back and it's still not 100% better. I'm able to sleep through the night now but can't sit for more than a few minutes so I've been working standing up. Supposed to drive to Delaware next weekend and not sure how that's gonna work. How has everybody been? Tell me good things. I want to smile today. I hope this song/video by one of my favorites puts a smile on your face, it's helped me a lot over the past year.

It's raining. I never complain about rain in this dry part of the country but it means that I won't go out for my usual 5 klms. jog. I exercise to keep my blood sugal level under control so I am wondering what I can do to compensate.
