A lot has been said already, so I can't really add much more I wouldn't have said myself.
Let's ask another question, sir.
Can you give me a scientific, reasonable explanation about why you have an attraction towards men only?
Why didn't you like girls as biology intended us to? It seems strange....
Do you see where I'm going with this? It's a bit uncomfortable for any one of us trying to explain why we feel what we feel just because someone out there doesn't understand it.
You said bisexuality seems strange to
you
It doesn't mean
IT is strange. Therefore, no one should
have to explain it to begin with.
Just as being gay is not a punishable-in-hell sin merely because religious people think it is, you know?
Why are we attracted to anyone? Aromatic cycles, serotonin, dopamine and their respective receptors and their respective target neurons. Plain, simple and litteral chemistry.
Now, why that attraction is towards women, men or both? In all honesty who knows?
There's too many variables in raising, environment, genome, etc; to make up for one's behavior, personality and other aspects of conciousness controled by our very intricate nervous system.
So, if you one day a while ago found out that you liked men, and you can't really know where does it come from, is it that unthinkable that some people can develop an attraction towards both genders?
Being gay is already something "out of the norm" if we see it biologically, because species are supposed to perpetuate their genomic set in time, hence, they need to reproduce and pass it down to descendants.
To you, is this statement true? Does being gay feel "out of the norm for you"? Think about it the next time you face yourself with this questions about bisexuality. There is no different answer for that question than the one I asked you just now.
