VileKyle Wrote:Actually, some are, but certainly not all. As far as I can tell, I'm pretty much right in the middle. It's just that for me, it's not measured by how much I like them. Gender is just irreverent to me, so it doesn't matter. I hope that doesn't throw you into more confusion

This is why he loves me, cause I'm irrelevant to Gender [Image: kawaii_onionhead_43.gif]

My Husband wuvs me, cause I'm a crazy bitch, My boyfriend loves me cause I'm a bit( A LOT) slutty and Kyle loves me cause I'm irrelevant to Gender. See how it all works out?

Nothing confusing at all.

Not to mention My Spanish boyfriend Mars loves me, cause I love him and all my girlfriend's on GS love me, cause I want to be them Wink

Very Simple.

Love = Love

this is a strange one - im sure you want straight people to accept that your gay !! but if you cant accept people been bi then why would you think straight people would see gay as normal ? I don't find it any more strange than me been gay....if your happy then be with who you want ,,,its the people who judge who ruin it

Typical men equate Love as meaning sex and get very very easily confused.

end of story.

PS The same was as homoSEXuals fuck the same gender...not fall in love with the same gender

It has nothing to do with me accepting anything.

I am just trying to understand. You can be in love with a goat for all I care, as long as the animal doesn't suffer I really really don't care.

I just want to understand how it works.

The only way to understand bisexuality is through understanding homo and hetero. As much as people say everybody experiences sexuality in different ways, surely there has to be a main similarity. That is what I think.

If we say the reason we're attracted to each other (chemicals... hormones?) is so that we mate and reproduce, then that would explain it all. The reason men are attracted to women is the same reason men are attracted to men, and vise-versa and everything in-between. It's an instinctive, natural desire controlled by bodily functions and stuff.

I don't think masculinity or femininity play as much of an integral role as everyone thinks. Surely, these can be strong, defining forces of our sexuality. And obviously, if sexuality is about this chemical vs. that chemical (male vs. female) then, technically, masculinity and femininity are integral. However, perhaps less in a boobs vs. pecs kinda way.

For me, where I stand now, what it would take for me to be bisexual would be to feel a comfortable attraction to women, as I do men, beyond anything physical. And I know that most men do feel this, so it's not so strange for me to imagine that it would be possible, for someone like me to have been bisexual.

And this, Queers and Queens, is why I often times seem Anti-men.

If it helps, think of it in terms of hair or eye color. Many people are attracted to both blondes and redheads/gingers, may even have a preference but go for either, yet such a person isn't doomed if in a closed monogamous relationship with one or the other. That is, because someone likes both blonds and redheads doesn't mean that he'll cheat on one with the other, commitment is given to the person, not the hair color (or gender).

A lot has been said already, so I can't really add much more I wouldn't have said myself.

Let's ask another question, sir.

Can you give me a scientific, reasonable explanation about why you have an attraction towards men only?

Why didn't you like girls as biology intended us to? It seems strange....

Do you see where I'm going with this? It's a bit uncomfortable for any one of us trying to explain why we feel what we feel just because someone out there doesn't understand it.

You said bisexuality seems strange to you

It doesn't mean IT is strange. Therefore, no one should have to explain it to begin with.

Just as being gay is not a punishable-in-hell sin merely because religious people think it is, you know?

Why are we attracted to anyone? Aromatic cycles, serotonin, dopamine and their respective receptors and their respective target neurons. Plain, simple and litteral chemistry.

Now, why that attraction is towards women, men or both? In all honesty who knows?

There's too many variables in raising, environment, genome, etc; to make up for one's behavior, personality and other aspects of conciousness controled by our very intricate nervous system.

So, if you one day a while ago found out that you liked men, and you can't really know where does it come from, is it that unthinkable that some people can develop an attraction towards both genders?

Being gay is already something "out of the norm" if we see it biologically, because species are supposed to perpetuate their genomic set in time, hence, they need to reproduce and pass it down to descendants.

To you, is this statement true? Does being gay feel "out of the norm for you"? Think about it the next time you face yourself with this questions about bisexuality. There is no different answer for that question than the one I asked you just now.
