The existence of HELL
#51
^ I actually did know that story, surprisingly. For my undergraduate, I attended a Jesuit school and many of the Jesuits there were full of stories like this. Because I went to this college, I have a more thorough understanding of original Christianity than the majority of Christians. They respected my own Taoist philosophy and never once tried to convince me to be Christian. Because Christianity was first and foremost a philosophy! Most of what we call Christianity today is BS introduced long after the death of Christ. Now it's a religion that has almost nothing in common with the philosophy of Christ.

That's the best I can do while being sleepy. I can't wait for surgery so I can get deeper into these conversations. Smile

What surgery if you don't mind telling. And I understand what you mean with the teaching of Yeshua. In fact, some people believe that Yeshua did not die on the cross. Now I can't be sure of that because so many people claim to have seen Elvis after its death LOL.

But just a second, I'm getting tea and I'm continuing that long rambling about the kings to finally arrive at Dueze's theory lol. I know I take several detours, but so far when I was teaching history in college after my years in Sociology, no students have ever complaint in fact I was one of the most wanted teacher. When I quit to pursue my own business I was asked to come back several times. I have a very crazy way of telling stories; just like our ancestors used to do... I mimic, I make faces, change my voice, give stupid comments in between, digress, but always come back to the point. LOL

So going back to the point, what surgery are you going through if you don't mind saying Tongue

In order to NOT derail the thread, which is what I excel at, here is a link that will explain it. If you want the rest of the convo, it's in the "What's on your mind" thread: http://gayspeak.com/showpost.php?p=45346...count=1891

TL;DR: construction to relieve asphyxiation Smile

Oh yeah I know very well about that... I used to have problem sleeping because of it when I was a child and even today I can't sleep on my back. And trust me I am the king of thread derailing hahahaha... but yeah let's go back shall we so next post I'll continue and when I'm done I'll comment on your post and Mike's... because again Mike hatched a very interesting post that need to be addressed... and Mike... FUCK those birds hahaha a discussion forum should go over two or three thread... when discussions become serious and more deep the feeble minds fly away or doesn't feel any needs to comment anymore... that's a sad reality... but GS isn't the only one where it happens but I'm here to discuss and exchange and if you were to meet me in real life and catch my attention with what you write... I'd spent moonlight speaking of about everything... and I am also versed in astronomy... I have a huge telescope (not a penis - pervert LOL) on my balcony and I can't go to sleep without taking a look at the sky Smile - YES I said AStronomy not ASStrology Smile

Mike and Jake, perhaps the little birds are too busy reading to make much in the way of posts. I know this little bird read quite a bit so far. As well, perhaps the little birds said whatever they had to say. *grins happily*

Back to Bishop Dueze

Previously on a thread near you...
So King Philip is dead, his eldest son is now King Louis the 10th (and a very bad one I might add), so under the influence of his uncle, brother of the late king and his cousin Robert D'Artois (all UK people know Robert III D'Artois, he is the firestarter of the 100 years conflict between France and England - his grave is in England by the way ). Both coerced the poor dimwit king Louis to have Queen Marguerite killed and make it pass like it was an accident or natural causes so he could remarry. The problem is to have all this pass... One still needed a pope to cancel the previous wedding. Back in those days, til death tears us apart was not just a cute sentence that we throw at a wedding to make it look officials, it was official and if you couldn't prove that the death of your wife wasn't a murder or premeditated killing, the church would still consider you married even 30 or so years after the death of your wife. Some kings like Philip Capet never remarried.

Come to scene Enguerrand de Marigny - well he was present from the very beginning, but you'll understand why I bring him in now, Marigny which was the treasurer of the previous king Philip but still under service with King Louis, Enguerrand was one of the main advisors for king Philip and its influence with the kind made him one of the most respected/hated yet powerful non-born nobleman of the kingdom of France. Marigny was not as popular under the new government, first because Louis 10th was not only inexperiemented but also extremely influencable and that's exactly what happened. Louis 10th had no interest in managing the kingdom, all he was interested in was to remarry (and FUCK to be literal) so most of its decisions were blew to him by his uncle Charles, eldest brothers of late King Philip. Charles hate Marigny with passion, not only for the divergence of opinion regarding the management of finance, but also because Charles was a pompous arrogant prince for which appearances were all that matter. Charles wanted another holy war and wanted his name to be attached to it he was all about becoming a Saint like his ancestor Louis 9th - grandfather of king Louis 10th, while Marigny opposed to the idea because the treasure was completely empty, Charles was convinced that Marigny had a very long arm in the kingdom's treasury and until Marigny was still in charge of treasury he would never be able to condemn Marigny who had few tricks up its sleeves.

But Marigny wasn't loved among the kingdom and he had many enemies, because of him looking for any available pennies, many jews died, women, homosexuals, italians and other immigrants, he was taxing all immigrants the double if not triple the residential tax just to stay and be poor in France and if you happened to be rich you'd be over taxed or killed so they could have access to your money. Yes, it was a barbaric time and I'm not giving the gore details here at least not yet - we should create a thread speaking of supplices in the middle ages lol. You all know how Philip Lebel tricked the templars, well France needed money again, and they went to the templars for a loan which was refused by the Great Master, Philip known has the "Iron" king - because nothing should be refused to him. When Philip asked for a loan, he did not appreciate the reason given by the great Master and paired with pope Clement V to accuse the order of herisy and many other "against-god" accusations.

Alright my computer has started slowing down again... funny I have a super powerful machine yet it keeps fucking up... stay tuned... after these messages we'll be riiiiight back Smile
