height difference in relationships
#21
Lexington Wrote:I was an advisor on a site for gay teens and young adults. They did a survey where one of the questions was "would you rather have a boyfriend taller than you (by 3 inches or more), roughly your height, or shorter than you (by 3 inches or more)?" Over 93% said "taller". Which means a lot of teens are going to be bumming at some point. Smile

Does it matter to me? No. I'm over six feet tall, and I've actually never been in a relationship (or slept with) somebody taller than me. I'm totally fine with that.

That's tall for a gargoyle, Lex... Wink

does height difference matter in relationships?

i am 163cm tall (5ft 4").

Well we have a match, now its time for us in Gayspeak to shove these two together (lock them in a room with each other) and force love to grow.

I understand preferences and being attracted to a certain kind, but I never understood those who took height so seriously. Unless the person is extremely shorter/taller than you by a lot, then I guess it would make sense, but I don't let a small height difference get in the way of getting to know someone. I've met a few who stopped talking to the guy or girl they were getting to know, simply cause' of their height and some other small factors.

I've booked my ticket to India and packed my suitcase. He's short, I'll make him love me damn it!

At 6'6", I think it would be interesting to be with a guy taller than me but the odds of that happening aren't too good.

Being 6'3 I'd like a guy to be at least around 5'10 or taller. For me I'm not personally attracted to shorter guys. Just a preference. I LOVE making out and kissing, and I wouldn't want the other guy to have to stand on a box, or me to have to bend down on my knees everytime we make out. That's just me though, sure plenty of other taller guys out there like shorter guys.

I go for shorter. I was in a lengthy relationship with someone taller (I'm 6'3 and he was 6'5) and it always weirded me out. I even went on a date with someone that was 6'9 and it was fucking weird. I prefer shorter than me. 5'6-5'10.
