No luck as in you met no one or just nothing ever went anywhere? I've met a few people...been my experience that POF has better guys...but unlike the name not quite as many fish. Definitely takes time and definitely makes a difference where and what app/service you're using along with how you have profile set up and so on.

I had gone on two dates with women and than came out and two dates with guys. After that nothing. The dates never spoke to me again.

Personally I would tend to agree. BUT I guess they're useful if you don't live anywhere with a gay scene. Or like me, where the scope for meeting gay guys in real life is extremely limited (despite there being a gay scene - strangely).
