But just to clarify. It's not a decision. You don't choose to be gay. Just like you don't choose your eye color or skin tone.

I didn't say he could decide what his profound sexuality was. I was saying that he could decide whether he thinks himself gay or not, which is different.
Some people may be gay and decide not to call themselves gay. Some people may not be gay and decide to call themselves gay. There is the same dimension here in the conscious decision to label oneself, akin, probably, to the decision to call yourself a male when you are classified as female, or the contrary. With that conscious decision comes the mental issues or the mental wellbeing of knowing where you think you stand, regardless of what your profound sexuality might really be.

I think you are too quick to judge. I had a long conversation in about 24 Private messages with this young man and I think that helped him to see where he stood. His attraction to the opposite sex has not been recognised by his peers, and that's where the worry came from. Maybe he's a troll, but those of you who think he is are missing more than half the conversation of this thread.

Sure. I know you know that. I wanted to make sure the OP did too.

Fair enough, i haven't been around lately, but the posts in this thread make the line of questioning seem almost unbelievable. But your right I should not judge

I'm going to be a little un-PC here...

What do you mean by "sex with guys."

Traditionally speaking, if you are having anal or oral sex with other guys - you'd be considered bi or gay.

Just dick and ball grabbing / flashing each other / streaking - I know plenty of straight guys that did that growing up and now are fully / raging hetro's.

You giving / receiving a hand job resulting in orgasm to/from another guy -- kinda questionable but probably not gay.

These days sexuality is fluid - lots of folks are getting away from declaring themselves gay or straight. Sex is fun but does it define you as a person? Definitions are becoming fluid.

If you are having fun - enjoy it safely.
Use a condom.

My words to him in Private Messages, drobs, but he's looking to hook up with the hot girl just two doors away now. She had the bad idea of undressing in front of him thinking or saying that she shouldn't worry because he's gay. He's never told her he was gay, because, you know what?, maybe he isn't.

Yes, Scootaloo there was a lot of reading in between the lines, especially when you miss whole chunks of the conversation.
