whats the last movie you watched
Lilitu Wrote:I watched The Cabin in the Woods.

Honestly, it wasn't that good. I wouldn't recommend it. It's just a simplistic satire that's rather poorly written, is my honest opinion.

I know what they were trying to do, and they did it, it just wasn't a very good thing to do. I don't see why everyone thinks it's so clever and important. It's not.

It felt like there were pretentious movie-geek people inside my TV screaming comments in my ear, and it wasn't pleasant.

It felt like a jazzed up sequel to Scary Movie.

People are so used to seeing complete trash and over-used clichés within the slasher subgenre that anything slightly more subversive and ambitious will be praised as revolutionary. Scream didn't really do that much except referencing every horror movie ever made and going a little meta here and there but it's received similar praise. I like both movies though, although I'll agree that they're overrated.

The last movie I watched was The Birds. It was good but not as much as Rebecca, Rear Window or Psycho.

This Is The End, it's funny if you like crude humor. plus there's a shot of Michael Cera's ass and Channing Tatum in a jock strap on all fours

i just watched Mulholland Drive.

Now I'm scared of everything. That was the most unsettling movie I've ever seen.

The Family

It was a really entertaining movie with a good amount of suspense. It's an original take on a mafia movie.

Made me so proud of my Italian heritage cD

Not very funny. First 20 minutes or so are BOOORING. Then it picks up for a bit, then it gets boring again. Pretty much a rip off of a "Jay and Silent Bob" style movie....just with more special effects.
Id say, if you are SUPER bored outta your mind, then its something to do. Other than that, dont waste your time.
A bunch of rich guys with nothing better to do with their millions obviously.

REALLY good movie! Especially if you like magicians. Keeps you on your toes, and keeps you guessing.
Definately something to see.

Yesterday night I re-watched Howl's Moving Castle... Gosh, amazing, and If I think that Mononoke, Nausicaa, Spirited Away and maybe other Miyazaki's movies are even better...
And Nausicaa isn't only one of the best animated movie, the manga is one of the best thing I read so far, literature included...

Awesome film. I just saw the CARRIE remake. Not nearly as good as the original, but it was kind of cool how cyberbullying played a big part in the new version. But don't worry - Carrie still manages to get her revenge. Popcorn
