Do I say my mind?
#21
Quote:I envy your situation, however; instead of putting him on the spot, you may want to approach it a little differently. Perhaps something along the lines of, "I think you're a great person, and before 'this thing' we have develops any further, I need you to know that I'm gay." Then if he reacts to the positive, tell him you wanna tongue punch his fart box. Or that you have a crush on him. Your choice.

Seriously, I only type this because if someone out of the blue asked my view of gay people, I would instantly think that the one asking was gay or setting me up for some type of situation. That's just the jaded old queen in me.

However you decide to go about it, good luck!

I actually really love that idea. Like I mean, LOVE that idea. I think I just might say it like that. Not only does it give him the choice of not saying anything about his sexuality, it also gives me a chance to tell him I'm gay in a non-threatening way. Smile

On , yet another, side note another guard and me were working the morning shift and we really lacked some coffee. So the other guard said "you should text him (my crush) and ask him to bring us some coffee." Not only did he come after I texted him but he brought coffee for all of us. That's just a nice thing to do right there......

Sorry, Mike. You didn't say that loud enough.

Also SHO.... before you get to the point of swapping genetic material with this fella you need to sound the alarm for some real practical advice about all the things you don't learn in sex ed.

No worries you guys, I will be back for sure. Whether the news be bad or good you guys deserve to know what happened after the crazy amount of support I got. And meme, I am also willing to learn new things. (I'm not trying to sound creepy but if you have advice on 4th base then I'm all ears, lol)
TOMORROW is the big day guys! I can't wait!!!

And I'll be glad to steer you right! The first thing you can do is forget everything you've seen done in porn tapes and never ever try to do anything the way you've seen it done by straight men performing gay sex acts. There aren't enough gay men making gay porn to start a softball team. I just read an article about that earlier today. It was disappointing.

I think the fact that you can't expect something to be like it is on TV or the internet is true for a lot of things. I really hope that this relationship goes that far but I really have idea how it will turn out. Gotta be prepared for anything!

Big words of advice

Well guys, just with my first post, i don't know where to begin. At the beginning of the shift everything was fine. We were talking about the stuff going on that day, the people, etc. So as if it was on purpose we had a third lifeguard in to help with the large influx of people. With the third guard in the stand, the huge mob of people quickly dwindled. So my crush and I decided to sit in the guard room and talk. He talked so much I pretty much didn't have time to get in what I wanted to say, so I didn't. I figured I'd tell him the next time both of us were down. When it was time to rotate he decided to go up. After him, it was my turn to get up in the stand but before I left the guard room my supervisor came in and told me that my crush was leaving when I got him down. SHIT, i thought. So I walked out and got him down. Here's how it went.
M-"Hey there was something that I meant to tell you earlier. Is it ok if I am frank with you?"
C- "Yeah, no problem."
M-"I just feel really comfortable telling this so here it goes, I'm gay."
C- *looks at me like I've told him the same story a million times* "Gurl, I know."
M- "Really? I thought I wasn't that obvious. Did you know the whole time?"
C- " Pretty much. I know you were at least Bi"
And that's about it. He didn't say anything about himself. Although, It wasn't awkward at all. We still talked for a couple of minutes before he left. We still waved at each other when he left. I don' think he has the same feelings for me as I do for him. Before I left, I left him a note in his locker. It said" I feel bad about putting you on the spot like that. I just think you are a really great person and wanted you to tell you that before the possibility of our friendship going any further. Thanks for understanding, (my name)." So I feel that either he doesn't like me back, the most likely choice, or that he is still uncomfortable with who he is. I feel that my next step is to communicate to him that I have feelings for him. How I'm going to do that, idk. I don't work with him until Friday. Thanks guys for reading my book of an update.

Not to get myself sidetracked but this week I have just felt like I was on a coming out roll. I ended up telling my family yesterday. They handled it amazingly Smile
