This is a really cute story! I can almost feel your excitement. It reminds me of a crush I had on a guy in college. He turned out to be straight though. :frown:

Isn't there a chance that he logged into facebook and is just contemplating what he should say? It seems that no matter what, he still has feelings for his girlfriend, so he might be very conflicted. He might realize that he ultimately wants to pursue his feelings for you but isn't sure what to do about his gf just yet.

Bleaugh. I had the exact same thing in school. I saw a guy. There was a thing. We became friends. He totally flirted his ass off with me - and trust me, I mean flirted in every sense of the word, normally I'm as oblivious to flirting as Leonardio dicaprio was to the truth in shutter island. Then I found myself falling for him. I thought he felt the same. He was practically feeling me up in classes and among our other friends. Then one night while we were out he told me he was bi. I was so happy. I basically thought he was telling me to go for it. And then we went back to his. And were alone. And I told him I was bi too. And yano wat he said? "Oh rite, wow, I was only kidding before.". Worst moment of all time. I got really down after that and did alot of stupid shit that my family found out about and now I can never take back.

Needless to say, I never open my heart to anyone about anything anymore. School can be so cruel lol. But on the plus side, which there always is, I became alot stronger and more independent as a person. I haven't so much as kissed anyone, man, woman or machine since and there's seldom a day goes by where I find myself pining for someone lol. It made me slightly more driven through university, and now I gots me a degree and a load of letters after my name which is more important than human relationships lol! And once you do that, you can get a really well paid job and buy love! They say you can't do that but there's only one thing I trust and thats money!

Jeez. Look at me. Please GOD your thing with this guy works out. Otherwise your gonna end up a stone cold hearted scrooge like me... RUN! Find him now! Make out with him before he even sees that its you! DON'T LET HIM SAY NO FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!

JAY: sorry to hear your story. Just like you, I opened my heart many times and got turned down many times. That makes me very insecure about myself, I start thinking that maybe I am just not good enough for them. That thought gives me motivation to be a better person, to study harder to be smarter, to work harder to get more money, and to work out harder to have a better body. But I would never say that I will not open my heart again, and I believe that you should not. I believe one day you will find love, if not, it will find you. Never give up on love.

Ah love is an accessory tho. I don't think it's a neseccity... do you? Definitely not at the moment anyway! I think its good to have a negative view about love, then if it does come along you might be pleasantly surprised rather than dissapointed.

Anyway, it's hard to know. I spent a long time wishing for love. Not even love, a relationship of any sort would have done! But then, you come on websites like these - alot of people are never happy - They have problems being in the closet, problems after they've come out, problems out of relationships or problems in a relationship, problems breaking off a relationship, problems deciding what to do about having a family... the list is endless. So sometimes I think, if people spent more time trying to make themselves happy, rather than counting on someone else to do it for them... I dunno, there might be a lot more happy people in the world huh?

I believe that love is necessary.
You are right that people have all kind of issues and sadness in their life. However, that is why we need love to make ourselves happier. I don't even know you but I wish you will find love one day tho. I just feel kind of sad about your case because what you are doing is exact what I am doing. But i will try to never give up on love. If one day I do, I hope that some stranger will remind me that I used to believe in love.
